Nurturing the potential of every child and teen.
We believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life. At the Y, children and teens learn values and positive behaviors that makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.
YMCA Child Watch
Child Watch, the Y's in-house child care service, is open to children 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Parents using the Y facilities may use this service by purchasing a Child Watch punch card from Member Services.
Our staff not only has the experience of working with children in a child-care setting, but has also received CPR/AED and Child Abuse Prevention trainings. Our staff will meet your child's needs by providing a fun and safe environment while you enjoy use of the Y. For safety reasons, parents and guardians must remain at the Y while their child(ren) is in Child Watch.
Children must arrive diapered and fed (snacks are not allowed.) Bring child's basic necessities, such as diapers, extra clothes, etc. in a labeled bag.
Child Watch hours are Monday-Saturday 8:00 am-11:00 am; Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm-7:30 pm. Cost for Child Watch is $4/hour for a Y Member and $5/hour for a non-member participant. Or for savings a 20 hour punch card can be purchased at $55 for a Y Member and $65 for a non-member participant; a 10-hour card at $35 for a Y Member and $45 for a non-member participant.
