The Marshfield Area YMCA has the following positions available:

Nighttime Housekeeping

Hours: Rotating schedule: 8:30 pm - 1 am Monday-Friday and 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm Saturday & Sunday
Duties/Responsibilities: The Nighttime Housekeeper will be responsible for the general cleaning of the entire YMCA facility including floors, carpets and windows. This staff member will also assist the Facilities Director as needed. The Nighttime Housekeeper must have knowledge or a strong willingness to learn how to use various types of cleaning equipment and chemicals. This staff member will be required to follow a strict sanitation schedule and checklist set by the Facilities Director. Self-motivation and attention to detail is a must.
Education Level Desired: High School diploma preferred.
Experience Needed for Job: Housekeeping experience preferred.

Youth Net Coach

Hours: 3-6 pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $10 an hour
Duties/Responsibilities: Looking for energetic, fitness-oriented individuals to lead an afterschool activity sports program at Youth Net during the 2017-2018 school year. Youth Net is an afterschool program serving 8-18 year olds living in the Marshfield Area. Candidates must be 18 years of age.

Building Supervisor

Hours: Part-time/Hourly/Nights & Weekends
Duties/Responsibilities: The Building Supervisor is responsible for engaging with and providing quality customer service to our members and guests. This person is also responsible for opening and closing the YMCA, monitoring security procedures and facility operations. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: building relationships with our members and guests, selling memberships, registering members and participants for classes and programs, supervising staff and volunteers, overseeing the building and grounds, and ensuring that the safety standards and policies of the YMCA are adhered to.
Experience Needed for Job: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Specific Training Desired: Customer service experience preferred.

2017-2018 YMCA Pryme Time After School Assistants

Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in implementing a childcare program at local elementary schools. Ensure children's safety and attendance, lead and help run programs designed to engage school-aged children in social and physical activity, provide homework assistance, and promote a positive environment for all youth and staff in attendance. Adherence to the Department of Children and Families requirements for a state-licensed childcare facility is required.
Education Level Desired: Assistants must be certified by the state of Wisconsin to provide care in a group childcare setting. The YMCA will help train the right individual to meet these qualifications.

2017-2018 School Year Pryme Time School-Age Lead

Hours: Weekday Afternoons 2:30-6:00 pm
Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in implementing a childcare program at local elementary school. Ensure children's safety and attendance, lead and help run programs designed to engage school-aged children in physical activity, social activity and academic/homework, and promote a positive environment for all students and staff in attendance. Adherence to the Department of Children and Families Standards for a state-licensed childcare facility is required.
Education Level Desired: Energetic and dynamic individual capable of supervising a group of children. Teachers must be certified by the state of Wisconsin to provide care in a group childcare setting. The YMCA will help train the right individual to meet these qualifications.

Swim Instructors

Hours: 4-20 per week
Pay: Based on Experience
Duties/Responsibilities: Must enjoy children and have ability to demonstrate and instruct safe swimming skills, while upholding YMCA values of honesty, respect, caring and responsibility.
Education Level Desired: WSI recommended. If not certification will be provided.
Experience Needed for Job: Must be at least 16 years old. If under 18, must possess current lifeguard certification or water safety instructor certification.

Lifeguards

Pay: Based on Experience
Duties/Responsibilities: Must maintain a safe aquatic environment according to the standards for certification. Additional facility-specific training will be provided upon hire. Must be willing to provide excellent customer service while staying vigilant and rescue-ready.
Education Level Desired: Must hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification and must be at least 16 years old.
