4K TEACHER

Duties/Responsibilities: Marshfield Area YMCA in collaboration with the Unified School District of Marshfield is hiring a 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) Teacher provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to encourage their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. The teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum for enrolled children following the provided Unified School District of Marshfield approved curriculum.
Education Level Required: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education and hold teaching certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

CHILD WATCH ATTENDANT - Marshfield Center
Hours: Part-time, Monday-Friday (various days available), 8:00-11:00 am
Pay: $9.50 per hour. Includes a YMCA membership
Duties/Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assisting with daily activities for children
- Responsible for the safety, supervision, and activities of the children in the room.
- Communicates child progress and/or problems with parents as needed.
- Maintains the rooms are an orderly manner ensuring that daily sanitizing/cleaning and basic health and safety codes are always met
- Ensure that an accurate sign in/out log and file log sheets will be completed at the end of each shift.
- Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the Y.
- Changing diapers or assisting with toileting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

CHILD CARE: AFTERSCHOOL CARE LEAD & ASSISTANT TEACHERS - Marshfield Center
Hours: 2023-2024 School Year. Monday-Friday, 2:30-6:00 pm
Pay: $14 per hour, includes a YMCA membership.
Duties/Responsibilities: Afterschool Leads and Assistants work with children ages 5-12 and oversee the afterschool care program at various site locations. Supervise and interact with children in a group setting, providing various activity, guiding positive behaviors, and ensuring a caring and safe environment. Maintain positive relationships with parents, children, and fellow staff. Instill Y Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Requirements: Meet qualifications for a lead or assistant per DCF 251- Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Center.
