Each year thousands of children participate in YMCA enrichment programs where quality care, character development,
education and fun are the focus. Parents can rest assured that their kids are safe and happy.
YMCA youth sports programs guarantee that kids have an opportunity to play and the YMCA Sports philosophy is about
making friends, learning and having fun - not scoring the most points.
With a progressive swimming program that incorporates skills and character development, the YMCA teaches thousands
of children and adults about water safety and the skills needed to swim.
Each day, YMCA seniors find companionship and wellness activities at the YMCA. Seniors are the fastest growing group
today at the Y.
Everyone plays, everyone learns, everyone grow at the Marshfield Area YMCA regardless of their race, age,
religion, abilities, or financial status. They learn to share, to care, and about teamwork and personal
responsibility, while developing self-esteem and wholesome values. We are asking for your support so everyone;
children, teens, families and seniors can participate. Please give to the best of your ability.
Take a few minutes to make a donation that will have a life-changing impact on someone in need.

Investing in the Community
The Marshfield Area YMCA members, volunteers, the board of management, neighbors, and staff meet to organize and
implement the Strong Kids Campaign. This campaign helps raise funds for scholarships and subsidies that stay in our
YMCA family, assisting people in our community who may want to participate yet for financial reasons cannot.
Won’t you please join us this year?
Neighbors helping neighbors... it’s the YMCA way!
The YMCA is about community. Building relationships and serving others is at the core of all programs and
services. Whether it is flag football, Special Olympics, youth aquatic lessons or teen activities, the YMCA builds
community within our community, serving over 9,000 individuals.
We were proud to award over $291,317 in scholarships last year. We extend our gratitude to the donors,
volunteers and others who make our vision of selfless help to others a reality.
Why a Strong Kids Campaign?
Each year thousands of children, families and seniors would be left out of YMCA experiences if volunteers and
donors, like you, were not generous with your time and gifts. Philanthropy has been a part of the YMCA culture
since its founding in 1851. At The Marshfield Area YMCA we continue to grow our support of each other through the
Annual Strong Kids Campaign. At the YMCA no family is ever turned away.
