About the Program:
6 WEEKS, 15 HOURS, A LIFETIME OF NEW OPPORTUNITIES!
Science has shown that our mind has an important influence over our body and our emotions, feelings and thoughts directly influence our pain and how it affects us. Healthy Living with Chronic Pain (HLCP) is an evidenced based workshop for adults who have or live with someone who has chronic pain, and is designed to help those who participate to better manage chronic pain.
The program goal is to help those with ongoing pain to take control of their pain, feel better, and live a healthier life. Led by trained leaders in a small group setting, this workshop will provide you with a "toolbox" of new concepts techniques and information that will help you meet your goals and priorities. Week by week, you'll have the opportunity to utilize and practice these "tools" to see what works for you. Benefits can include: decreased pain, improved mental health and energy, better health and increased confidence in your ability to manage pain, improved quality of life, and more!
(This program does not replace existing treatments, but serves to complement a participant's current Medical treatment plan. This program is not meant for a person who has pain medication addiction issues)
