Certificate Courses

American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer

This class is intended for professionals that are expected to respond to emergencies as part of their job related duties. Includes specialized skills and techniques for two person CPR, the use of an AED, and special rescue situations. Those completing the course will become certified.

On August 15-18 an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class will be offered, Monday 9:00-2:00; Tuesday 9:00-2:00; Wednesday 8:00-4:00 and Thursday 9:00-2:00.  Must register by Thursday, August 11.  Cost is $140 for members; $160 for non-members.  Prerequisites include 1.  Minimum 15 years of age on the last day of the course.  2.  300 yards continuous swim front crawl and breast stroke.  3.  Swim 20 yards, retrieve 10 lb brick from 7 foot depth, return to starting point and exit pool within 1 minute 40 seconds.
